Our Achievements:
Since opening our company owned ‘Wizard Car Wash’, consisting of 4 bays and a Water Wizard Automatic in the Melbourne suburb of Narre Warren in October 2004, we have worked non stop on developing and refining our reclaim system and introduction of alternative water sources, so mains water is only used as a ‘last resort’.
This has culminated with reductions in average water use in the Water Wizard from around 380 litres to less than 60 litres per vehicle and to less than 40 litres per vehicle in the self serve bays, entitling the site to a 4 and 5 star rating within the ACWA water rating scheme.
These efforts were rewarded in November 2006, with the Water Wizard Car Wash being selected as a finalist for the prestigious ‘Green Plumbers Award’.
